With a *spark* of inspiration came a fun & fizzy recipe book.

For my Advertising Senior Capstone research project, I focused on food advertising and the way that the evolving Millennial consumer is changing the way Big Food advertises. Instead of boring you with the numbers, I figured I would jump right into the fun stuff.

So, let’s get to it!

We have all seen the studies about Millennials: they eat too much avocado toast, they are addicted to social media, and they are ruining certain markets because they prefer experiences over material products. These studies say a lot about Millennials and their consumption habits, and a good marketer knows how to capitalize on them.

Knowing this, I thought it would be fun to create a Integrated Marketing Communications Plan for my Capstone that taps into these trends and insights. I chose to use experiential advertising, paid social, and sales promotion in this plan for the beverage brand, Waterloo Sparkling Water*.

I had so much fun creating the deliverables for this project that I felt like sharing the cocktail recipe book! Below you can find 10 recipes, one for each of the 10 Waterloo Sparkling Water flavors.
